Bio: Holly is a passionate and experienced registered dental hygienist with a career spanning two decades in the dental field. She was educated at Canadore College, where she earned her dental assisting certificate and dental hygiene diploma. Her diverse career has seen her thrive in various roles, from working in general dental offices to owning and operating her own dental hygiene clinic: Tooth Goals. As an educator, Holly also had the privilege of guiding future dental professionals as a clinical instructor and theory professor at Algonquin College. With Tooth Goals, she challenges the dental experience, offering unique treatments in a spa-like atmosphere.
Course Synopsis: In this session, you will gain a better understanding of what probiotics are and how they benefit the oral microbiota. You will discover a way in which to assist your client on re-investing in their periodontal health. You will learn about products to recommend and how to incorporate them into the treatment plan.
